About Us

We are a small home cook hot sauce business setting up for farmers markets and direct to consumer sales. We operate as a home kitchen in compliance with Texas cottage food laws. We started out growing peppers in our backyard as a hobby and eventually began producing more than we could use, so we began bottling hot sauce. After giving a few bottles to friends, we got really positive reviews and decided to bring our product to the community and see how you like it!!

Our business name is inspired by our recently passed corgi, Rosie. A bit of a chonk of a corgi, she was a sweetheart who would eat anything in sight!!! As a tribute to her, we have decided to call our business Fat Dog Pepper Co. in memory of our fat, sweet girl.

As a note, operating under Texas Cottage Food laws, we cannot do direct online sales. If you are looking for some sauce, use the contact us form below and we can reserve some for you to pickup at our next market or arrange a meetup to get you what you want!!
